Apple Vacations Launches Own Academy

On the first day of its Midwest trade show, which kicked off in Detroit on Monday, Apple Vacations unveiled its new educational program, Apple Vacations Agent Academy. The web-based, interactive program allows travel agents to become accredited by the tour company by taking four, 20-minute courses per semester, at their own pace. Courses focus on tools, policies and procedures of Apple Vacations, as well as hotel- and destination-specific seminars. In addition, on completion of each course agents will receive bonus Royalties Points, discount and promotions information and a listing on the "Find a Travel Agent" section of Apple Vacations' web site.
