The Orlando Sentinel reports that the Disney Magic will install a new splash pool themed after the movie Fantasia and brand-new 22-inch LCD TVs for all guest rooms along with other upgrades during a dry-dock period later this month.

According to the report, the 385-square-foot "Mickey's Splash Zone" will be an addition to the already installed Mickey Pool. It will be themed around the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" and feature star- and moon-shaped fountains and splash areas.

New TVs will be installed in a fashion where they can swivel, allowing guests to watch them from different vantage points.

Other upgrades will include new waterfalls from a pair of hot tubs in the pool at the adults-only "Quiet Cove," new chairs at the nearby Cove Cafe and new radio frequency identification technology at the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, allowing children to check in and out by tapping a sensor with with tag-embedded wristbands.
