Thompson Hotels to Open Boutique Property in Seoul

Thompson Hotels will further expand its portfolio of luxury hotels with Thompson Seoul in South Korea. The 100-room Thompson Seoul marks the brand’s first venture outside of North America and the first luxury boutique property of its kind in Seoul. Thompson Seoul will be located in the city center along the bank of the Han River, next to Han Riverside Park and the Park Hyatt, offering views of the Seoul skyline.

The penthouse suite will have a private deck and outdoor spa pool. The hotel will have a private rooftop bar and pool, full-service spa and 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space for weddings and business conferences. The Seoul hotel will be the first Thompson property to feature a three-story golf driving range, with a 200-foot driving distance. The golf area will occupy the sixth through eighth floors of the hotel and will include a putting green, locker room facilities, golf screens and a snack lounge.
