Walt Disney Theme Parks Raise Ticket Prices

Wish upon a star all you want, your dreams of lower ticket prices to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, are not coming true. The Walt Disney Company announced it is raising one-day ticket prices to both of its United States theme parks.

Visitors who are 10-years-old and older will now pay $75 instead of $71 for admission into Walt Disney World and children aged 3 to 9 will now cost $63, up from $60, for entry.

Meanwhile, tickets for those aged 10 years or older at Disneyland will cost $69 (up from $66) while tickets for children aged three to nine increase to $59 from $56.

Disney's park hopper option, which allows ticket-holders to move among any of Disney's parks, has been raised to $50, up from $45.
